Alive and breathing, yes! The future of the comics, unknown. In a nutshell, Ice Queen and I have separated. It took a lot of thinking and going back-and-forth, but while our relationship was strong, our individual desires were not being met. There was too much unhappiness and unnecessary conflict. At this time, I don't know what will become of our work. I drew for her, and now without her in my life, I'm not sure where my personal feelings lie with this work. I still may draw NSFW, but not quite like how I used to, under Ice Queen's guidance.
Some of the sites we were active in have been dissolved, in one form or another, so if you haven't heard back elsewhere, this is why. Some accounts were deleted, and some simply logged out of.
I'll be... meditating, I suppose. Re-evaluating my life, just as Queen is. We'd been a part of each others lives for so long, it's weird being off on our own. Choosing life for ourselves, in a way. Her health is significantly improving, for those of you who wondered for her. She and I are still in contact, as I am assisting with some of her health and safety aspects in her life. She's not fully ready to be off on her own, and I don't want to see her get hurt. She is still my friend, after all.
Thank you to everyone who have stayed with us through all this time. It was a very hard decision, but one that needed to be made for both of our wellbeing's. In the meantime, she is busy working on her health and living for herself, on being alive. I am focusing on my family - there've been a few tragedies on my side - and finding peace with myself. I've mentally blocked out the remainder of this year for healing and self-discovery, so I don't expect to create anything under Sketchy for some time.
